We are currently seeking a qualified Strategy & Operations Consulatnt to join our team supporting our DoD Federal Client.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Own and maintain the MS Project schedule, tracking team capacity and task assignments, producing regular progress reports for leadership, and ensuring the schedule remains current and accurate Develop task-level effort and time estimates to support realistic scheduling, monitor for schedule slippage, and coordinate corrective actions Maintain a risk and issue log, support active mitigation by engaging the appropriate team members, and escalate decisions that cannot be resolved at the working level Prepare meeting agendas, capture notes, document decisions, and manage action items through closure Maintain shared, up-to-date project files, logs, and documentation with clear visibility into the work for leadership and the team Support change management coordination including drafting communications, tracking stakeholder engagement activities, and following up to ensure planned actions are completed on schedule Coordinate across internal teams, program offices, and partner organizations to maintain alignment and accountability across all stakeholder groups. REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, management, communications, or a related field 3-5 years of experience in project management, program coordination, or operations support Hands-on experience building and maintaining project schedules in MS Project or a comparable tool Experience developing task-level effort and time estimates and managing schedules across multiple workstreams Demonstrated ability to track and actively manage risks, issues, and action items in a structured way Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce clear meeting notes, status updates, and leadership-facing reports Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to coordinate effectively across a large, diverse stakeholder group while maintaining attention to detail and follow-through Familiarity with Agile or Scrum work methods Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and take initiative PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience supporting federal government or DoD clients Experience supporting acquisition organizations or defense programs Exposure to change management principles or direct experience supporting an organizational change effort Familiarity with financial management, strategic planning, or portfolio management functions in a government or defense context Experience coordinating across multiple teams, offices, or agencies toward a shared objective PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification SALARY:
