Experience Coordinator Reports to:
Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations Organization Overview:
Roc Solid Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that builds hope for children and their families fighting pediatric cancer by providing programs that allow them to do what kids do best
  • play.
We are best known for surprising kids fighting cancer with brand new playsets in their backyards and providing Roc Solid Ready Bags to families when their child is diagnosed.
Job Overview:
As a member of the development team, the Experience Coordinator will ensure partner and family communications remain consistent and frequent leading up to each specific project, fostering a life changing experience from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
  • Communicates effectively with partners and families before each project (e.g., playset builds), ensuring they receive all necessary information, signup links, and timely responses to questions
  • Collects required information and documents from partners and families to support project readiness
  • Represents Roc Solid at build sites and events, fostering positive engagement with partners and families
  • Recruits and engages volunteers to serve the Roc Solid mission
  • Guides and stewards school clubs, supporting their ongoing involvement with Roc Solid
  • Continuously evaluates partner and family experiences to ensure a first-class standard of engagement
  • Participates in regular staff meetings and contributes to the evaluation of programs and partnerships
  • Serves as a Roc Solid representative at events, providing communication support as needed
  • Coordinates and hosts Ready Bag Packing Parties to advance the mission of Roc Solid Foundation
  • Travels to support projects as required
  • Performs other duties as assigned to further organizational goals
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated passion for change and motivation, capable of leading projects and people
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Passion for customer service
  • The ability to build relationships with staff, partners and families
  • Integrity, credibility and a commitment to Roc Solid's mission and goals
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Google Suite and Internet use
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic and results-oriented attitude
  • Proven initiative and ability to work independently
  • Ability to work flexible hours, and willingness to travel throughout the region as needed
