Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a specialized background in tooling and industrial equipment procurement and installation . In this role, you will lead end-to-end project execution for new equipment installations, system upgrades, and tooling projects. Your mission is to ensure every project aligns perfectly with production requirements, budgetary constraints, and strict delivery timelines.
Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Execution Strategic Planning:
Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets tailored to tooling and equipment needs.
Cross-Functional Leadership:
Coordinate high-performing teams across Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and external suppliers.
Risk Management:
Proactively monitor progress, identify potential bottlenecks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Procurement & Vendor Management Sourcing:
Evaluate and select top-tier suppliers for industrial equipment and specialized tooling.
Negotiation:
Manage contracts, pricing, and delivery terms to maximize cost-effectiveness.
Compliance:
Oversee vendor relationships to ensure all components meet rigorous quality and technical specifications.
Installation & Commissioning On-Site Oversight:
Lead the installation, testing, and commissioning phases of industrial equipment.
Safety & Standards:
Ensure 100% adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements during the build-out.
Validation:
Verify equipment performance metrics before formal handover to the Operations team.
Budget & Reporting Financial Oversight:
Track all project costs to ensure strict adherence to approved budgets.
Communication:
Prepare and present regular status reports for senior management and key stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities to enhance project execution efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience:
5+ years of project management experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Domain Expertise:
Proven track record in the procurement and installation of industrial tooling and equipment.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, SAP ) and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes.
Preferred Qualifications Certification:
PMP or equivalent project management certification.
Methodologies:
Experience applying Lean Manufacturing principles and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
