Job Description:
Company Description Southland Concrete Corporation is a leading concrete contractor serving general contractors across the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area in both private and public sectors. The company specializes in cast-in-place concrete work for steel frame office buildings, tilt-up construction, data centers, warehouses, and foundations. Work is primarily concentrated within a 50-75 mile radius of the Manassas-area office, covering Virginia, Maryland, and parts of West Virginia. Southland Concrete provides opportunities to grow in a stable, project-driven environment focused on quality, safety, and collaboration. Role Description The Sr Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Manassas, VA. This position is responsible for leading concrete construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination with general contractors, subcontractors and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives in project delivery.
  • Provide strategic guidance for risk management and scheduling.
  • Supervise and mentor Project Managers and Project Engineers.
  • Partner with estimating to secure projects and develop scopes.
  • Build long-term client relationships and strengthen company reputation.
  • Represent company leadership in client negotiations.
  • Oversee profitability across multiple projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent related experience. 7-10 years of progressive project management experience with a construction subcontractor, including significant experience managing concrete construction projects. Proven track record of successfully managing large, complex, or multiple concurrent projects. Exceptional leadership, client management, strategic planning, and team development skills. Strong understanding of concrete construction means and methods, scheduling, budgeting, and subcontract administration.
Salary Range:
$110,000-$155,000
