Starting at $95,000+ annually (salary dependent on experience and qualifications) Position Overview A growing construction environment is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial, institutional, and public-sector building projects from preconstruction through final turnover. This role is responsible for coordinating all phases of project execution while maintaining alignment with budget objectives, schedule milestones, safety expectations, and quality standards. Projects may include renovations, infrastructure improvements, site development, IDIQ contracts, lump-sum engagements, and accelerated construction schedules. Primary Responsibilities Lead projects through planning, procurement, execution, turnover, and closeout phases Develop conceptual estimates, budgets, and proposal support documentation Manage subcontractor solicitation, negotiations, contract administration, and project buyout activities Build and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar scheduling platforms Monitor project timelines and implement corrective actions to address delays or sequencing issues Conduct routine site visits to evaluate construction progress, safety compliance, and workmanship quality Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, field personnel, vendors, and project stakeholders Ensure compliance with permits, inspections, contract requirements, and regulatory standards Facilitate project meetings and maintain accurate project documentation and reporting Oversee project financial performance, including billing, forecasting, cost tracking, and job costing Support company safety initiatives and project quality control processes Collaborate with field leadership to develop look-ahead schedules and short-term execution plans Identify project risks and proactively implement solutions to minimize schedule or cost impacts Ensure all work is completed in accordance with contract specifications and client expectations Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred 4-7 years of experience with a commercial or industrial general contractor or 10+ years of relevant construction management experience in lieu of a degree Experience managing subcontractors and/or self-performed scopes of work Strong understanding of construction project execution, scheduling, and workflow coordination Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents Experience with estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and cost control Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software platforms Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to work in active construction environments, including walking job sites and lifting up to 50 lbs when necessary Preferred Experience & Certifications Experience supporting government or public-sector construction projects Familiarity with IDIQ contracts and fast-track construction schedules OSHA 30 certification First Aid and CPR certifications
USACE/NAVFAC CQC
