Teya Support Services is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the performance, management, and coordination of our Base Operations Support Services contract at Fort Belvoir. As the central point of contact with the Government, you will hold full authority to act on all contract matters relating to daily operations and will direct a multidisciplinary team delivering facilities engineering, maintenance, and installation support services. This is a high-visibility leadership role reporting to the Operations Manager. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide overall management, direction, and coordination of the work effort, ensuring effective, efficient, and economical operation of all activities identified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Serve as the central point of contact with the Government for all work; manage and commit resources accordingly. Maintain operational oversight of management, clerical, and technical staff. Hire, terminate, and discipline project employees, and administer employee incentive awards. Ensure proper supervision of contractor personnel during normal and other-than-normal duty hours. Ensure all employees are properly trained and licensed prior to appointment or operating equipment, and that supervisors and leads schedule training as specified in the PWS. Ensure all assigned personnel secure and account for Government property, perform proper maintenance, and follow applicable Security Control Plans. Attend meetings involving contract interests or support when representation is requested by another base activity. Respond to Government requests throughout the life of the contract, including data accumulation and submission requirements. Report directly to the Operations Manager and perform other duties as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of five (5) years of base support management experience on a contract similar in scope and breadth. 10-Hour OSHA General Industry Training Certification and 30-Hour OSHA Construction Safety & Health Training Course. Knowledge and general proficiency in GFEBS, Maximo, and the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience in O&M, including management of a diversified workforce responsible for the O&M and repair of facility systems, subsystems, and equipment typical of a Base Operating Services contract. Strong written and verbal English communication skills, including the ability to interpret technical procedures and government regulations and to present information to managers, clients, and the public. Valid state driver's license and insurable driving record. Ability to pass a company drug screen and background check, and to obtain and maintain a Tier 1 (Public Trust) Clearance. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role frequently requires standing, walking, handling/fingering, reaching, and bending, with occasional climbing, crawling, squatting, and kneeling. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Work is performed in an environment with occasional exposure to risk of electrical shock and radiation; noise levels are usually moderate.
