Job Description

We specialize in a wide range of commercial buildings, including office buildings, medical facilities, retail spaces, and government buildings. The backlog of project we have are set for the next 10yrs.

Our company is well known for comprehensive safety program that includes regular training, safety inspections, and the use of advanced safety equipment, being members of the U.S. Green Building Council and have completed numerous LEED-certified projects.

As Senior Project Manager, you will partner closely with Superintendents and Project Management Teams, ensuring all aspects of your projects are successfully completed with respect to safety, quality, scheduling, budget, and subcontracting administration functions.

You will also be actively involved in preconstruction efforts.

This is a leadership role that requires hands-on, meticulous project management expertise, the ability to hold people accountable yet while bringing parties together, mentorship, and close coordination with stakeholders.
ResponsibilitiesProject Planning and Coordination:
Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and specifications.

Prepare and present project proposals, reports, and updates to clients and senior management.
Project Execution:
Oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, building codes, and safety standards.

Manage subcontractors and vendors, including negotiating contracts, monitoring performance, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.

Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure quality control.
Budget and Financial Management:
Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.

PreconstructionMonitor project expenses and implement cost-saving measures where necessary.

Prepare and submit accurate and timely invoices and financial reports.
Risk Management:
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.

Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.
Team Leadership:
Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring their professional development and growth.

Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related fieldMinimum of 7 recent years as a Project Manager with General Contracting experience in managing large, ground-up, commercial construction projectsExtensive knowledge of project management software (Primavera, MS Projects, Procore, or similar)MS Office - Microsoft Word, Excel, Power PointGmail, Google DriveSage 300 CRE/Timberline and/or Sage IntacctBluebeam (or markup software equivalent - Acrobat etc.)AutoCad experienceStrong financial management skills, including budget development and cost controlBasic knowledge of building codes and local municipal standardsThorough understanding of civil and building drawings and specificationsOSHA 30-hour, CPR, and First Aid certificationsLEED accreditation or experience with sustainable building practicesBenefitsHealth insurance (100% of base plan covered)Dental insuranceLife insuranceVision insurancePaid time off401k with company matchingTuition reimbursementCommunity Service LeaveFitness reimbursement program
