Job Description

job summary: Assistant Project Manager needed in the Richmond Virgina area for a leading Engineering and Construction company. Working closely with a team of Project Managers, Engineers and Construction Professionals, you will assist on a variety of construction projects, taking on task such as schedules, cliet communication and data management. Ideal candidates will have a bachelors degree in a related field and 5 years of experience.

Glen Allen, Virginia job type: Contract salary: $40 - 50 per hour work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: The APM will maintain document control, manage databases and coordinate and track project activities and communications to ensure project goals are accomplished within the prescribed timeframe and budget parametersManage Contractors' submittals, requests for information, supplemental design instructions, and site drawing logs.

Verify Contractor compliance including: quality, safety, environmental, environmental and material management programs.

Execute contracts including: change order management/ field change directives, approval of invoices, and management of schedules.

Assist with project controls efforts, including project cost reporting, scheduling, project work breakdown structure establishment, project set-up and closeout within the accounting system, and field progress tracking.
