Job Summary:
Equipment to be used by the temporary staffing professional(s): Client will provide equipment Computer software to be used: Microsoft Suite of tools and planner tools Knowledge, skills, education, and/or experience: Client is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Special Projects Manager in Child Welfare to lead large-scale projects and oversee enactment clause requirements and day-to-day support of Centralized Intake/Child Protective Services and In-Home Services projects and initiatives from inception to completion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to coordinate multifaceted and large-scale projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong project planning and scheduling skills, risk management, budget and cost management, quality management, and software efficiency. As a key driver of our special projects, you will collaborate across programs and portfolios, manage resources effectively, and ensure all project milestones are achieved with precision and professionalism. Requirement:
Extensive experience with project management software. Strong background in large-scale projects, estimating, project scheduling, implementation, and overall management practices. Proven ability in project coordination within complex environments involving multiple community partners. Excellent time management skills coupled with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently under tight deadlines. Effective communication skills for collaborating across teams and presenting technical information clearly. Demonstrated expertise in project management, including skills in the following areas: adaptability, problem-solving, organization, leadership, conflict resolution, quality management, and strategic planning. Child Welfare Duties/Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, execution, and implementation of the enactment clause requirements and day-to-day support of Centralized Intake/Child Protective Services work study and In-Home Services Program projects with adherence to scope, schedule, and budget. Communicate effectively and coordinate with internal and external partners; demonstrating clear expectations, active listening, and constructive feedback. Utilize blueprint reading and schematics to interpret project designs and ensure accurate implementation on-site. Schedule, plan, and facilitate internal and external meetings (onsite or offsite) as needed to monitor progress and adjust timelines proactively. Work directly with program staff, contractors, local department of social services staff, and any additional internal and external partners. Review contracts, change orders, and technical documents to ensure compliance with project specifications and legal standards. Conduct meetings off-site if needed or requested. Facilitate communication among community partners through clear documentation and regular progress reports.
