Job Description

Company Overview The Commercial Group is a dynamic full-service commercial construction company that specializes in diverse divisions including commercial development, general contracting and construction management, interior finishes, residential renovations, and facility services. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional projects that shape communities and enhance spaces. Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead construction projects from inception to completion. This role involves overseeing project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will be passionate about construction management and possess strong leadership skills to coordinate teams, subcontractors, and clients effectively. Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all phases of commercial drywall projects from pre-construction/award through completion. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members. Responsibilities Project Planning & Coordination. Review project plans, specifications, and contracts. Develop & Manage project schedules, submittals, budgets, subcontracts and project financials. Order and manage materials. Review and Price changes to the contract scope. Manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards. Conduct regular job site visits and progress meetings. Financial Management Track project costs and manage budgets. Review and approve invoices, change orders, and purchase orders. Identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate financial risks. Ensure accurate job costing and forecasting. Client & Subcontractor Relations Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and general contractors. Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and internal crews. Resolve project issues, conflicts, and delays professionally. Scheduling & Reporting Maintain and update project schedules. Provide regular status reports to leadership. Ensure timely project closeout, including punch lists and documentation Qualifications 3-7+ years of experience in commercial carpentry & drywall construction project management. Strong knowledge of drywall systems, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, and finishing. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications. Experience managing budgets and schedules. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Autodesk/Procore, Quick Bid, OST, Bluebeam, Microsoft Systems). Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Pay:
$90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
