$75K-$120K + Benefits A leading steel construction and rigging firm specializing in structural steel erection, heavy rigging, industrial construction, and large-scale commercial projects is seeking an experienced Rigging Project Manager to oversee high-value ($2M-$10M+) projects across the Manassas, Virginia region. With a strong 2026 project pipeline, we deliver warehouses, manufacturing plants, commercial developments, and complex steel erection projects—backed by AISC, AWS, and OSHA compliance. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of complex rigging and steel erection projects within a growing, reputable firm. Key Responsibilities Manage rigging and steel erection projects from preconstruction through final delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, safety requirements, and quality standards. Coordinate rigging crews, erection teams, subcontractors, suppliers, crane providers, general contractors, and client communications throughout the project lifecycle. Track rigging plans, erection schedules, budgets, procurement, crane coordination, equipment needs, lift plans, and site logistics to ensure smooth field operations. Collaborate with engineers, GCs, fabricators, detailers, safety teams, and field crews to resolve construction challenges and maintain project momentum. Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, shop drawings, lift plans, erection plans, safety documentation, and project records. Utilize industry software such as Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Tekla, and project management platforms for coordination and documentation. Who You Are 3+ years of experience in rigging, steel erection, structural steel construction, or a related field. Experience managing commercial or industrial construction projects, ideally valued at $2M+. Strong understanding of rigging operations, crane coordination, lift planning, structural steel erection, field sequencing, shop drawings, safety planning, and project coordination. Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred but not required. OSHA 10/30, NCCCO, AISC, AWS, or related certifications preferred, or willingness to obtain. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage field teams, vendors, and client relationships. Why Join Us?
