Project Manager - Hybrid#26-06774 McLean, VA Hybrid Contract Starts 6/16/2026 Ends 12/18/2026 Job Description Genesis10 is currently seeking a Project Manager - Hybrid (3-5 days onsite) position with a Major Financial Institution located in McLean, VA. This is a contract currently approved through mid-December 2026. We are seeking a seasoned Financial Project Manager to oversee large-scale business initiatives within the Finance Division. The ideal candidate will have experience with financial forecasting processes and will be responsible for the strategy, planning, and execution of key projects. This role involves extensive collaboration with multiple finance and technical teams to drive project success. Will be supporting a program that is creating a new centralized snowflake data platform for improved forecasting throughout the firm. Strong enterprise scope of experience, need a seasoned PM as some departments aren't as mature in PM processes. Will be creating project artifacts and timelines. Currently, 5 workstreams for centralized data in snowflake and new dashboards for forecasting; with the biggest one being the centralization of data.
Responsibilities:
Utilize consultative skills to perform needs and/or gap analysis to determine rollout strategies and plans Facilitate customer engagement and feedback sessions Collaborate with internal business partners to develop a solid understanding of strategy Effectively manage assigned efforts using standard project management tools, including project work plans, issue logs, and status reporting Gather requirements, manage timelines, track milestones, and coordinate status updates across stakeholders Lead weekly status meetings and provide direct interaction with senior management regarding status, progress, and issues Manage multiple workstreams to develop a cohesive project plan and rollout strategy
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience At least 5+ years of related project, risk, or program management experience Proven experience managing cross-functional projects across multiple finance and technical teams Experience building and maintaining a project infrastructure including project charter/vision, project planning, schedule management, and risk management Experience working with stakeholders to understand vision, business objectives, and critical success factors Excellentmunication and presentation skills Exceptional organization, collaboration, and writing skills Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
