Your new company: General Contractor with an excellent reputation of delivering large scale Data Center construction projects throughout Virginia are looking to hire a new Construction Project Manager to join their team. This a permanent, full-time career position, Project Managers who are career driven and want to become a Senior Project Manager in 2-3 years time will be attracted to this opportunity. Open to Project Managers from a general contractor subcontractor background. You will be working on multi-million dollar data center campus developments up to $400M in contract value and will all be local to the Northern Virginia area. Company has a strong pipeline of 5-7 years in the Northern Virginia area.

Your new role:

Join an award winning, commercial general contractor to the Washington DC construction market. You will be Office-based working alongside an established and successful field and project management. You will be reporting into a Project Executive, with the aim of you being promoted to a Senior Project Manager in 2-3 years depending on your ability to scale up on the volume and leadership of juniors. You will be working on multi-million dollar data center campus developments up to $400M in contract value and will all be local to the Northern Virginia area. Company has a strong pipeline of 5-7 years in the Northern Virginia area. You will be responsible for running the project management program, working closely with the field management team. Project budget and financial tracking, scheduling, construction documentation, quality control and client POC will all fall under your/PM teams' responsibility. This GC have a separate preconstruction and estimating team that will support you.

What you need to succeed:

3-8+ years of Construction experience working for a commercial construction general contractor demonstrating progressive growth in responsibilities. Commercial Construction ground-up or interior experience is valid and can come from any market sector of experience within commercial. A construction related degree such as engineering, architecture or construction management is desired but not essential. On-site position in the company HQ in Northern Virginia 5 days a week. Flexible work hours available. What you'll get in return: Competitive base salary, assessed based on years of experience, $120K - $145K. Sign-on Bonus. Vehicle allowance per month.
