Job Description

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead change adoption across the Distribution & Service Transformation journey, translating strategy into actionable roadmaps and sustainable outcomes. You'll partner with executives and cross-functional teams to ensure readiness, identify training needs, and align messaging and execution. You'll orchestrate change across a distributed environment, driving through governance and change management to enable strategic objectives. This is a chance to influence large-scale transformation in a mission-driven, collaborative culture.
Compensation / Benefits
  • Animate strategic tasks to align programs with business goals
  • Develop multi-year business plans and execution approaches
  • Collaborate with sponsors and cross-functional teams to define scope, milestones, resources, budgets, and dependencies
  • Produce status reports highlighting risks and issues
  • Ensure team alignment and understanding of interdependencies
  • Create performance metrics, dashboards, and tools for tracking key activities
  • Conduct root-cause analysis and produce actionable work products
  • Identify new program opportunities delivering integrated solutions
  • Define and adapt program strategies based on demand and ROI
  • Negotiate agreements and tradeoffs with IT and business to balance demand and capacity
  • Mentor Program Managers on benefits identification and alternatives
  • Adhere to EPMO processes, governance, controls, and templates
  • Drive adoption and sustainment of changes per USAA Change Management methodology Tasks
  • 8+ years of project and/or program management experience
  • Experience with Waterfall or Agile methodologies
  • Advanced risk management knowledge
  • Strong program management methodology and change management principles
  • Proficiency with USAA's change management methodology or similar
  • Experience managing large budgets
  • Stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Expert level in Principles of Project, Program or Portfolio Management
  • Experience applying business knowledge to assess program risks across technologies and goals Key requirements
