Full Job Description Job Description:
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) is a Department of Defense entity responsible for research and development, test and evaluation, engineering, and Fleet support services for the Navy's ships, submarines, military watercraft, and unmanned vehicles. This position supports NSWCPD Code 20. Cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project. Prepare and implement a budget based on estimates. Conduct risk assessments, report identified risks to management; provide recommendations for mitigation of risk (including termination of the project if appropriate). Promptly address performance related questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project. Developing and providing assessments associated with contractor team performance, including quality, cost control, schedule, management, and compliance to all contract requirement. Act as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors. Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experiences:
Five (5) years of professional experience in program/project management to include financial management, risk management, scheduling, planning, and oversight task progress; three (3) years of experience in Department of Defense or U.S. Navy programs or operations.
Degree Requirements:
Bachelor's level degree in any technical or managerial discipline. A secret security clearance Must be a U.S. citizen.
