  • New Installation Your main responsibilities As an Associate Project Manager, you'll own the full project lifecycle for new installations, driving high-quality, financially successful outcomes.
You'll partner closely with sales, field superintendents, and customers to meet specifications and resolve any technical challenges along the way. Project Management Oversee new installation projects from start to close-out, ensuring efficiency and profitability Manage submittals and coordinate timely delivery of materials Work with Field Superintendents to track progress and proactively address delays Partner with Engineering and local/regional leadership to keep projects on track Maintain vendor relationships and support forecasting and budget planning Identify and manage change orders, including approvals before work begins Financial Ownership Manage project revenue and ensure alignment with fulfillment guidelines Drive timely invoicing, targeting 90% collection prior to turnover Customer Relationship Management Build and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle Ensure certified payroll is completed accurately and in compliance with prevailing wage requirements Quality & Safety Compliance Ensure all work meets Schindler and customer standards for quality, performance, and safety What you'll learn Schindler's products, services, and fulfillment standards through hands-on training and field exposure New Installation tools and processes through a 3-day onboarding program One-on-one mentorship to accelerate your growth Practical experience with project management tools and systems What you bring
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel Preferred
  • Experience in the construction, elevator or related building systems industry
  • Familiarity with SAP, Lotus Notes, and project management software like Procore
  • Ability to read schematics and blueprints
