Job Description
We're working with a growing design-build firm in Richmond that's heavily invested in data center construction across the Mid-Atlantic. They're looking to bring in an MEP Manager with a strong electrical background to take ownership of complex, mission-critical builds. This is a hands-on role where you'll be working closely with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to drive the MEP scope from preconstruction through delivery. The Role Lead all MEP coordination with a clear focus on electrical systems across data center projects Manage subcontractors, ensuring quality, schedule, and cost are aligned with project goals Act as the main point of contact for all MEP-related issues on site Work closely with design teams to review drawings, identify gaps, and drive value engineering Oversee commissioning processes and ensure systems are delivered to client expectations Support project managers with scheduling, budgeting, and risk management related to MEP scopes What They're Looking For 5-10+ years of experience in MEP or electrical construction Strong background in electrical systems, ideally within mission-critical or data center environments Experience working for a general contractor or design-build firm Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and coordinate across disciplines Comfortable being client-facing and driving technical conversations Strong understanding of commissioning, QA/QC, and project delivery processes Why It's Worth a Look Solid pipeline of data center work with repeat clients Opportunity to work on complex, high-value projects Collaborative design-build setup with real influence over delivery Clear progression into senior leadership roles Competitive salary, bonus, and full benefits package Get job alerts Share Copied to clipboard Related roles MEP Manager Data Centers Charlotte
