Project Manager

ATA Services, Inc is seeking a highly skilled and organized Project Manager to lead and oversee the State of Vermont's (VT) project to centralize a decentralized primarily manual fingerprint criminal history record check process (paper and physical delivery of results) into a streamlined compliant cohesive digital process. This is an onsite full-time position located at a State Facility with a duration of no more than 60 months in length.

Duties:

• Project Manager will have authority to and must be responsible for all day-to-day tasks necessary to manage, oversee, and ensure success of the project. These tasks include documenting requirements, developing and updating project plans, assigning staff, scheduling meetings, developing and publishing status reports, addressing project issues, risks, and change orders, and preparing presentations for the State of VT. • Project Manager serves as primary point of contact and the single-point of accountability and responsibility for all contract-related questions, issues and services. • Project Manager shall be responsible for ensuring that the project management requirements are met in accordance with the requirements outlined in the scope of services for the project. The Project Manager must support the State of Vermont by reviewing and signing existing State management plans as a form of acknowledging engagement expectations and the ability to comply. Adjustments may be submitted for the State's consideration. Requirements Proven experience and background in project coordination and management on large-scale projects. Strong organizational skills with excellent time management capabilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams. Bachelor's degree. Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
