Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking a Project Coordinator to support both project execution and preconstruction efforts. This role plays a key part in keeping projects organized, compliant, and moving forward by managing documentation, coordinating communication, and assisting with estimating tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically capable, and comfortable working with plans and specifications. This person should be able to take initiative, produce clear written communication, and handle multiple responsibilities across active projects and bid efforts. Key Responsibilities Prepare, track, and manage RFIs Assemble and maintain submittals and submittal logs Support change order preparation, including backup documentation and narratives Draft and manage project correspondence Review plans and specifications for scope, compliance, and coordination Assist with quantity takeoffs and basic cost estimating Solicit and track vendor and subcontractor quotes Maintain organized project files and documentation systems Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and clients Qualifications 2-5 years of experience in construction, civil, or environmental projects (Entry-level candidates with strong aptitude and relevant education will be considered) Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications Strong written communication skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, or estimating is preferred Work Environment We are a small, female-led company with a collaborative and down-to-earth work environment. We specialize in environmental remediation, habitat restoration, and civil earthwork projects. Our work includes contaminated soil remediation, landfill construction, soil and groundwater treatment systems, and stream, creek, and estuary restoration, including fish passage improvements. The office atmosphere is casual but professional. This is a good fit for someone who prefers a smaller team, variety in their day-to-day work, and the ability to have a direct impact on projects.
Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
