Tilt-Up Pivotal Construction Salary Range:
$130,000
  • 155,000 DOE Position Overview Pivotal Construction is seeking an experienced and driven Ground-Up Project Manager to join our growing team.
This role is responsible for managing industrial and tilt-up construction projects from preconstruction through closeout while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong experience managing large-scale ground-up commercial or industrial projects, specifically tilt-up concrete buildings, and thrives in a fast-paced construction environment. We are looking for a proactive leader with strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills who can successfully lead projects and teams from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Manage ground-up industrial and tilt-up construction projects from start to finish Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, subcontractor coordination, and procurement timelines Lead communication between clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams Oversee preconstruction planning, permitting, buyout, and project execution Track project costs, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and overall financial performance Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality expectations, and project schedules Collaborate closely with superintendents and field personnel to proactively resolve project challenges Conduct regular project meetings and provide updates to stakeholders and ownership teams Review project drawings, specifications, contracts, and scopes of work Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project partners Qualifications 8+ years of experience in commercial construction project management Strong experience managing ground-up industrial and tilt-up construction projects required Experience with large-scale warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or big box projects preferred Strong understanding of tilt-up construction processes, scheduling, sequencing, and logistics Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications Strong budgeting, cost management, and subcontractor buyout experience Valid driver's license required Benefits & Compensation Vacation Stipend $2,500 annual vacation bonus paid upon completion of a qualified vacation with submission of receipts Employees become eligible after 6 months of employment 401(k) & Employer Safe Harbor Contribution Eligible to enroll in the company 401(k) plan upon hire 3% Employer Safe Harbor contribution included Subject to company plan and IRS guidelines Health Benefits 100% employer-paid medical, dental, vision, and group life insurance Benefits effective the first day of the month following your start date Option to add family members to the health plan at the employee's expense PTO & Sick Leave Three weeks (120 hours) of vacation per employment year, accrued semi-monthly beginning on your first day worked 50 hours of sick leave per employment year, accrued semi-monthly beginning on your first day worked At Pivotal Construction, we take pride in building high-quality projects while creating lasting relationships with our clients and partners.
