Overview:
ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Project Manager I role is responsible for planning and coordinating large-scale projects with minimal supervision while ensuring compliance with organizational procedures and standard processes. The role maintains detailed, well-organized documentation and provides periodic status updates as required, while also staying current with new developments and emerging technologies. It involves monitoring processes and projects, recommending improvements to enhance operational efficiency, establishing project priorities, and maintaining a general understanding of all aspects within the assigned scope. Additionally, the position directs project team activities, manages project budgets, and collaborates closely with other project and line managers to ensure alignment and successful project execution. This full-time position is located in Richland, WA.
Pay range:
$44.28 - $56.57

Acts as technical expert in one or more highly specialized areas of applications systems analysis and programming. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written or modified. Has full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming. Determines solutions for process failure and/or integrity issues. Interfaces with other application analysts as needed to resolve programming or data problems. Designs, codes, tests, and debugs programs/applications of varying complexity. Coordinates the implementation of application changes into designated areas with customers and peers, ensuring changes and/or customizations to program/application objects and processes are clearly identified, packaged for migration, and documented in adherence to standards.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED and an Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in a technology or business discipline, along with 1-5 years of progressively increasing responsibility in a professional environment, including at least 2 years of project management or program oversight experience, at least 1 year of budget management, and at least 1 year in a technical position. OR an Associate's degree from an accredited college or university and 10 years of progressively increasing responsibility in a professional environment, including at least 2 years of project management or program oversight experience, at least 2 years of budget management, and at least 2 years in a technical position. OR in lieu of a degree, 12 years of progressively increasing responsibility in a professional environment, including at least 3 years of project management or program oversight experience, at least 3 years of budget management, and at least 2 years in a technical position. A high school diploma or GED is required. Strong leadership skills to effectively build and lead cohesive cross-departmental teams, using appropriate interpersonal styles and methods to guide individuals and groups to successful task completion. Strong analytical skills to identify issues and problems, gather relevant information, and evaluate alternative courses of action. Ability to exercise sound judgment by weighing options and making decisions based on factual information and rational assumptions, while considering organizational goals and resources. Demonstrated communication, planning, and organizational skills. Ability to establish goals, set priorities, and maintain awareness of interrelationships among activities.
