    Overview:
    ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Nuclear Project Manager II will lead complex, multidisciplinary projects under $10M, overseeing planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution for outage and online work activities. The role ensures safe, high-quality, and on-time delivery while managing risks, costs, contracts, and cross-functional coordination. This position requires strong leadership to guide large teams and mentor project managers while driving process improvements. Qualified candidates bring PMP certification, commercial nuclear power plant experience, and advanced expertise in managing complex projects and outage environments. This full-time position is located in Richland, WA.
    Pay rate:
    $63.44 - $96.55

          • Manage projects and programs typically under $10M, including planning, scheduling, and execution with minimal oversight
          • Lead and direct multidisciplinary project teams of 10+ personnel
          • Oversee complex projects supporting refueling outages, forced outages, and online work
          • Establish priorities and maintain visibility across all project phases and activities
          • Execute all phases of project delivery including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, work packages, and resource loading
          • Ensure work is completed safely, with quality, on schedule, and within budget
          • Develop and manage project budgets, including cost tracking and cost-benefit analysis
          • Identify and resolve schedule delays, risks, and execution challenges; manage critical path and float
          • Coordinate with project controls, finance, engineers, vendors, and management
          • Develop and manage contracts and vendor relationships
          • Prepare and deliver project communications to stakeholders and senior leadership
          • Monitor project management processes and implement improvements for efficiency and effectiveness
          • Apply technical specifications, codes, and industry standards to project execution
          • Support nuclear and industrial safety, ALARA planning, and clearance order preparation
          • Lead risk management, work prioritization, and execution strategies
          • Develop long-range project planning strategies
          • Support outage activities including OCC
          • Support corrective action and self-assessment program implementation
          • Mentor and coach project managers and team members; act in a supervisory capacity when needed
          Requirements:
          • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field and 14 years of experience in a regulated industrial environment;
          • OR advanced degree and 12 years of experience;
          • OR AA/AS and 16 years of experience;
          • OR high school diploma/GED and 18 years of experience
          • PMP required
          • Commercial nuclear power plant experience
          • Experience managing complex, multidisciplinary projects and programs
          • Experience supporting refueling outages, forced outages, and online work management
          • Experience leading large teams and mentoring project managers
          • Proficiency in all aspects of project management, including large-scale projects
