Full Job Description Description:
The field project manager is responsible for ensuring that our flooring projects get started and completed according to plan and schedule. The FPM is responsible for making sure the installation is completed with the quality and care that gives the customer confidence and satisfaction in our work. Troubleshooting unforeseen problems once the job starts is a large part of this role. The field project manager works closely with the sales team (flooring consultant and project manager) to help make the process flow smooth on the field side of things. The ideal person for this role will have some construction and/or flooring experience and be able to work well with others individually and on a team.
Responsibilities:
job starts with installers to ensure the work orders are clear and followed correctly troubleshoot with team, installer, and sometimes the customer when issues come up during the installation process work with the project manager to dictate change orders and additional materials if needed communicate effectively with installers and other subcontractors at times to coordinate a project timeline final walk through of job to ensure all details are covered and flooring installation and finish work is up to standards assess quality control issues handle small punch list items pick up additional sundries and supplies from vendors to bring to job site as needed (grout, floor leveler, trim pieces, etc)
