  • Project Manager (Heavy Civil
  • Bridge & Highway) Kuney is seeking a Project Manager to support and lead heavy civil projects throughout Western Washington. Projects range from approximately $10M
  • 100M and are primarily bridge and heavy highway work.
This role is open to individuals stepping into their first Project Manager position as well as those who have previously led projects of this scale. Education Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field Experience 6-10 years of heavy civil construction experience Experience supporting or managing bridge and/or heavy highway projects Public works project experience required Experience with WSDOT projects preferred; additional experience with City of Seattle, PUDs, counties, and other public agencies valued Inland marine work experience is a bonus but not required Responsibilities Manage projects from turnover through closeout Maintain cost control, forecasting, and budget accountability Develop and update project schedules Administer contracts and manage change orders Coordinate with superintendents, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and owners Ensure compliance with contract documents, specifications, and safety requirements Technical Requirements Working knowledge of WSDOT Standard Specifications Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contract documents Familiarity with bridge construction elements including structural concrete and structural steel Familiarity with heavy highway scopes including earthwork, utilities, and paving Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel Position is based on the west side of Washington State.
