Job Description

Position OverviewWe are seeking an exceptional Business Manager / Chief of Staff to support the client's Vice President. This role functions as a direct extension of the VP, serving as a trusted partner responsible for driving operational excellence, strategic alignment, and execution across a highly dynamic technical organization.

The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced executive environments, excels at cross-functional coordination, and brings strong analytical and communication skills to influence decisions at all levels of the organization.

Key ResponsibilitiesAct as primary business partner to the VP and senior leadership, managing executive priorities and strategic initiativesPrepare briefings, materials, and insights for L10+ executive audiencesDrive cross-functional alignment across Finance, HR, Recruiting, PR, and technical teamsLead operational planning efforts including OP1/OP2 cycles, 3-year planning, goals management, and business reviewsDesign and implement scalable governance frameworks, reporting structures, and operational processesFacilitate executive communications, staff meetings, offsites, and cross-team forumsTranslate complex technical and business concepts into clear executive-level narrativesLead high-visibility cross-functional initiatives and special projects from planning through executionIdentify operational inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement across the organizationEnsure accountability and timely delivery of strategic commitments
