Studio Director Vancouver, WA A well-established design firm in the Northwestern U.S. offers a comprehensive range of architectural, engineering, and surveying services. The team combines technical expertise with innovative thinking to deliver projects that are functional, visually compelling, and sustainable. Dedicated to client satisfaction and community involvement, they consistently provide high-quality solutions across diverse project types. They are seeking a strategic and results-driven leader to oversee in-office operations, project performance, and team development. This position plays a key role in ensuring project success, cultivating strong client relationships, driving profitability, and supporting business growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will work closely with company leadership to expand market opportunities, strengthen brand presence, and foster a high-performing team culture.

Profit Sharing Bonuses Essential Functions and Duties:
Oversee branch operations, project delivery, and studio performance to ensure profitability, quality, and client satisfaction Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to support project deadlines and operational efficiency Lead project planning, scoping, contract development, fee proposals, and client relationship management Mentor, develop, and support design professionals while fostering a collaborative and growth-focused team culture Resolve operational, technical, and project-related challenges and facilitate coordination across teams and departments Drive business development, marketing initiatives, community engagement, and brand promotion in partnership with company leadership
Qualifications:
Licensed Architect or Engineer with 10+ years of professional experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent education Proven leadership experience managing office operations, staff, and multi-disciplinary project teams Strong project management background with experience overseeing projects through all phases of design and construction Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills with the ability to lead teams and engage clients Demonstrated organizational, delegation, and time-management abilities with a track record of balancing multiple priorities and deadlines Experience in business development, strategic marketing, and community engagement, with a commitment to collaboration, professionalism, and company values Get in touch!
