Job Description

Entrance Technologies is growing its clientele, and we have and excellent opportunity for a Project Coordinator in the Eagle River area to join our team of professionals! The ideal candidate will have previous project management experience in construction/doors/service or a related field, be organized, motivated, detail-oriented, and driven. The Project Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing automatic pedestrian door installation projects from initiation through completion. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and customer expectations. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination & Execution Manage multiple automatic door installation projects simultaneously from kickoff to closeout Review project scope, specifications, and contracts to ensure full understanding of requirements Develop project timelines, schedules, and milestones Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget Customer & Stakeholder Communication Serve as the main point of contact for customers, general contractors, and vendors Provide regular project updates and proactively address issues Manage change orders and communicate impacts to schedule and cost Field Coordination Work closely with installation technicians and field supervisors Schedule crews and ensure proper staffing for each project Work with Field Supervisor to monitor progress and quality of work Ensure compliance with ANSI standards, safety regulations, and company policies Financial Oversight Track project budgets, costs, and profitability Review and approve invoices, purchase orders, and expenses Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality Ensure accurate billing and timely project closeout Quality & Compliance Ensure all installations meet manufacturer specifications and industry standards Oversee inspections and final project walkthroughs Maintain proper documentation including permits, warranties, and closeout packages Problem Solving Identify and resolve project issues, delays, or conflicts Adjust schedules and resources as needed to maintain project success Escalate critical issues to management when necessary
Qualifications:
Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred 3+ years of project management experience in construction, doors, glazing, or related field Experience with automatic pedestrian doors strongly preferred Skills & Competencies Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Excellent communication and customer service skills Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and construction documents Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
