Job Overview We are seeking a motivated, high-integrity Assistant Project Manager to join our team. This is not a typical corporate office job. We are looking for someone who is genuinely passionate about the construction field , enjoys the fast-paced energy of active building projects, and is hungry to build a career in construction management . In this role, you won't just be pushing paper, you will work directly alongside our senior Project Managers to learn how a project moves from blueprint to reality. You will bridge the gap between the office and the field, mastering project scheduling, digital takeoff workflows, subcontractor coordination, and project execution. Compensation & Schedule Starting Pay:
$25.00 / hour Hours:
30 to 40 hours per week (Hours vary based on project workflows and seasonal demands) Overtime:
Overtime hours fluctuate and are required as needed to meet fluid construction phases, project pipelines, and deadlines. Key Responsibilities 1. On-Site & Field Coordination The PM's Right Hand:
Actively assist the PM with daily operations, problem-solving, and administrative workflow. Be ready to take initiative and handle on-site situations when needed. Project Liaison:
Act as a central link between the office and the field crews. You will help distribute schedules, update change orders, and communicate directly with superintendents, tradespeople, and subcontractors. Field Support:
Spend time understanding the mechanics of our job sites, helping to verify that materials arrive on schedule and that project timelines are being aggressively met. 2. Construction Operations & Digital Management Procore & JobCore Management:
Assist in executing daily construction workflows, including organizing RFIs, Submittals, and daily logs directly within our project management platforms. Plan & Spec Control:
Manage and maintain accurate, up-to-date digital blueprints, ensuring our field teams always have the exact specs they need to build. 3. Estimating & Takeoff Support PlanSwift Operations:
Partner with the project management and estimating teams to dive into digital blueprints, using PlanSwift to perform material takeoffs and quantity counts. Qualifications & Core Requirements Core Values & Construction Mindset Passion for the Field:

Must be willing and able to accommodate very occasional overnight travel/stays if a specific project pipeline requires it. Education & Experience Education:
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred. Recent graduates who want to build a career in the field are strongly encouraged to apply! Experience:
Prior internships, co-ops, or hands-on experience in the construction trades is a massive plus, but we are fully prepared to train an ambitious candidate with the right drive. Technical & Software Skills Construction Tech:
Prior exposure to or a strong desire to master industry tools such as Procore, JobCore, and PlanSwift is a significant advantage. Core Tech:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) and general comfort managing digital construction files. Perks & Growth Path Real Management Track:
