Job Description

As global supply and demand for water intensifies, solving the world's most complex water challenges demands different thinking - and that's where we come in. We're seeking a Drinking Water Project Manager to join our team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Someone who can use their vast experience in the water industry and apply it to today's challenges. As a valued Jacobs employee, you will work with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve successful design of water treatment facilities and help lead clients to the correct treatment approach by utilizing desktop calculations, bench analysis, pilot plant operation, and full-scale operational troubleshooting. You'll have the opportunity to work with conventional and advanced treatment processes, including coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, granular media filtration, biological filtration, membrane filtration, disinfection (ozone, UV, chlorine), adsorption, and other treatment processes. We'll rely on you to support business development efforts and help in the pursuit of new projects, as well as work directly with clients on the projects and tasks that you are leading, developing long-term client relationships. Learn from our senior technologists who are experts in the industry, with the expectation that you will assist with team building and mentoring of younger engineers. Bachelor's Degree in civil, chemical, environmental, or mechanical engineering. Extensive years of experience in relevant water treatment and process engineering, including water, wastewater, and reuse systems Planning and design experience in water distribution system, including pipelines, pumps stations and storage tanks Demonstrated understanding of drinking water supply, master planning, and treatment processes and technologies Strong communication skills, both written and oral Self-motivated, initiator; demonstrated through professional society involvements or related activities Professional Engineer, (P.E.) license Over 20 years of experience Ideally, you'll also have Master's Degree Wisconsin experience is highly desirable Madison
