Description:
Under the general supervision of the Low Code Team Supervisor, this position will provide leadership and direction for the Low Code Development team. This includes systems and project planning, estimating, execution, implementation, and ongoing support. The individual will work closely with the functional business groups within DOC to ensure effectiveness of solutions deployed. The Consultant/Administrator•Project Manager shall comply with the Departments administrative rules and the agencys policies and procedures including those related to the Departments overall Reentry philosophy of using evidence-based strategies, practices and programs which target an offenders individual criminogenic needs and risk level.
Responsibilities and Duties:
A. Manage and coordinate IT project related activities according to the Bureaus methodology. A1. Set achievable project goals, clarifying business benefits. Create project charter and develop the project scope. Create and maintain the project plan. Mitigate and report on risks. A2. Responsible for tracking and reporting on the overall progress on the project. Provide customers and management with regular reports regarding status of the project. Manage and communicate the timeline and budget for the project. A3. Gather project or functional requirements; Get customer approval of the requirements. Keep project status current in PWA or current project tracking system. Ensure baseline schedule and actual hours are in line. Use JIRA for task assignment. Coordinate the delivery of the business solution that meets requirements. Get customer approval for close of project. A4. Work with BTM Architecture Review Committee to ensure that any new business solutions are reviewed and approved before development begins. A5. Responsible for all phases of assigned project and/or software package implementation, upgrade, systems development and support projects. A6. Identify and maintain necessary project resources and coordinate project schedules. Provide feedback on project team performance to management based on quality of deliverables, project status reporting from team members, and business input. B. Assist customers in the identification and effective resolution of and business needs. B1. Serve as the liaison between the customer and the technology staff. B2. Ensure that the technical team has proper security considerations in place. B3. Work with customers to determine business process engineering/re engineering needs as assigned, or as indicated in current efforts. B4. Favorably represent the Bureau by maintaining a true business partnership with customers at all times. C. Performance of complex system analysis and requirement studies to implement new content services initiatives and/or enhance existing authoring and/or policy and content workflow procedures. C1. Analyze existing systems and procedures by examining functions, organizational structure, personnel and job responsibilities, information flow, and total cost of ownership. Plan ahead for major upgrades or re-platform initiatives. C2. Recommend standards and procedures to be followed and work with the business to coordinate their documentation and training plans. C3. Ensure compliance with State and Department enterprise support standards and methodologies. C6.
