Job Description

job summary: Join our dynamic energy team in the Midwest as a Strategic Project Manager, specializing in the construction of a cutting-edge Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) facility. In this role, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of the facility, driving the project from initial development and construction through a seamless transition to full operations. Utilizing established project management methodologies, you will lead cross-functional teams and collaborate closely with EPC contractors and key stakeholders to achieve scope, schedule, and cost objectives. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field, alongside an active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. We require a minimum of 10 years of professional experience managing large-scale programs or complex projects. Crucially, applicants must demonstrate a proven track record of successfully managing LNG facility construction projects.

Coordinate seamlessly with EPC contractors, Owner's Engineers (OE), and Engineers of Record (EOR).Establish project timelines, resource requirements, and performance measurements, performing cost/benefit analyses as needed.

Partner with sourcing personnel to prepare RFPs, evaluate vendor responses, negotiate contracts, and manage finances.

Develop and execute comprehensive stakeholder communication plans and support formal project governance reviews.

Ensure smooth operational handoffs by managing project closeouts, financial finalization, and team training.
