Manitowoc, Wisconsin Associate Project Manager (Direct Hire) — On-site | Manitowoc, WI (54220) ABR Employment Services is partnering with a well-established manufacturer in the Manitowoc area to hire an Associate Project Manager to support Development & Industrialization projects. This is a great fit for someone with manufacturing leadership experience who enjoys coordinating cross-functional work, keeping timelines on track, and partnering with customers and suppliers.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
In this role, you'll support the Project Manager and help drive projects forward—ensuring timelines, quality, and cost targets are met while aligning to customer expectations and regulatory/quality standards (FDA c
GMP, BRCGS
Consumer Products, ISO 9001). Key responsibilities include: Manage and coordinate project activities assigned by the Project Manager Coordinate trial runs, customer visit support, and project documentation (internal/external) Partner with suppliers on factory visits, technical meetings, and follow-ups Participate in project meetings; track action items, owners, and next steps Assist with project planning tasks (deadlines, responsibilities, progress summaries); may support multiple projects Serve as back-up to the Project Manager as needed Create technical documentation as needed (specs, technical datasheets, project charters) For select customers, act as a technical point of contact to understand needs and support relationship growth Coordinate project timeline activities across internal departments
REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience 2+ years of manufacturing experience in a leadership/coordination capacity Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills Strong computer skills; proficiency with MS Office/Excel
PREFERRED
Project management experience Technical background (Chemistry is a plus) Experience with MS Project and SAP Familiarity with Power BI and/or Power Automate
WORK ENVIRONMENT
(SUMMARY) Primarily office/computer-based (computer use up to ~85%) Some exposure to manufacturing/lab environment; PPE may be required (steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, hair/beard net, etc.) Occasional travel (less than ~15%)
