Budgeting Full Job Description Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in residential remodeling and renovation construction. Candidates should have a proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinate subcontractors and trade partners, oversee all phases of construction from pre-construction through completion, and deliver exceptional quality, communication, and client service throughout the remodeling process.
Position Summary:
To efficiently run Remodeling projects with the company's Mission and Vision statements in mind. Daily collaboration with the Design team and Production Manager. Have the ability to continuously run multiple Remodeling projects at a time utilizing resources provided. Ensure on site productivity, quality, and safety. The Project Manager will be the client's primary point of contact from project handoff to completion.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate the quality of work to assure a high level of craftsmanship throughout the production phase with all Trade Partners. This includes walk-throughs at the end of work completed. Ensure high level of site cleanliness by requiring use of company provided equipment to keep the site as such. Ultimately it's the Project Managers responsibility for site cleanliness. Ensure jobsite safety through best practices. Ensure projects are on track to meet project requirements, deadlines and budgets, and participate in post-production quality reviews. Facilitate and create change orders as needed to ensure work can continue. Review design development packages, construction documents, and drawing packages for accuracy, design integrity, and code compliance Provide consistent and timely communication of project information with clients and internal staff. Phone Calls / emails to be replied to within 24 hours. Collaborate and work with Trade Partners on Daily Logs through Buildertrend Attend (1) weekly on site meeting (providing email recap if needed) and craft (1) weekly update message through Buildertrend - keeping all internal staff informed Maintain Buildertrend Schedule and update weekly - making sure it's accurate so the client knows who is in and out of the home. Advise Production Manager about status of assignment(s) with respect to project schedules, budgets, delays, and adverse problems. Come to required internal meetings with full knowledge of the materials to be discussed along with questions as it relates to the content. Turn in receipts in a timely manner to bookkeeper as needed Keep Company vehicles in good working order - including general maintenance, security & safety, and car washes weekly. Support business development activities; including social media marketing, trade partner acquisition, and new client acquisition. Requirements:
Eye for detail and quality Flexibility, professionalism, humility, and a sense of humor Ability to work collaboratively with vendors, contractors, and other related professionals, including colleagues - using the utmost professionalism in all interactions. Fully understand and interpret plans, scope, and specifications of an interior residential remodeling project. Assist in interpreting industry codes and standards, and ensures design and drawing compliance Willingness to learn, adapt, and have the ability to jump into on site production and be hands on if needed Ability to turn on a dime, remain poised and manage client expectations Must be self motivated and able to work with minimal supervision Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong leadership, management and mentoring skills - a desire to mentor team members, offer guidance and leadership Within (1) year of employment, be enrolled or obtain the CRPM (Certified Remodeling Project Manager) designation through NARI (National Association of the Remodeling Industry)
