About Horizon Retail Construction:
Horizon Retail Construction is a nationally recognized general contractor specializing in tenant improvement. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and driven Project Manager to join the team at our corporate headquarters. Headquartered in Sturtevant, Wisconsin, we take pride in delivering quality projects, building strong relationships, and fostering a collaborative team culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of construction projects from pre-construction to project close-out Manage project teams including Project Coordinators, Assistant Project Managers, Site Superintendents and Subcontractors Maximize team effectiveness to ensure milestones and objectives are met Manage job costs Create, manage, execute and expedite construction schedules Monitor performance standards guaranteeing jobsite safety Promote a business environment that fosters high levels of integrity Quickly identify and resolve job level issues Frequently communicate progress of construction activities with client Customize communication and systems to meet client requirements
Summary of Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong leadership skills Problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment A highly motivated, self-starter
Preferred Skills:
Efficient and productive worker that can adjust to heavy workloads Takes initiative and is forward thinking Ability to set appropriate priorities based on organizational needs Has a sense of urgency and gets things done in a timely manner to achieve goals Understands the needs of our staff and can adapt Good written, oral, and listening skills
