Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Manager manages the overall project including financial outcome and administers both the owner and subcontractor relationships for assigned projects. This position may oversee a single large project or multiple projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS STATEMENT
(S) Responsible for Customer satisfaction and project success Understands and administers the Sauer's prime contract and subcontract agreements. Establish project objectives, and performance standards while assuring compliance with all customer requirements. Manages budget and financial reporting. Works closely with General Superintendent to manage labor cost. Negotiates and processes claims and change orders. Prepares the initial project schedule and responsible for schedule compliance. Responsible for the overall profitability of the project(s). Responsible for the management of the project's Small Business Subcontracting Plan. Attends and leads project meetings. Ensures strict adherence to ethics and compliance requirements throughout the business unit. Drives enforcement of safety protocols by the project staff. Oversees the administration of the quality assurance/quality control program. Responsible for prompt project close-out, including all related documentation. Provides estimating support on an as-needed basis for the Division. Performs other related duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, BIM, and Presentations Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule
EDUCATION AND EXPEIRENCE
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, building construction, or related field required Minimum 5 years related experience required Experience managing multiple mechanical projects simultaneously Understanding of and ability to implement LEAN concepts preferred
