Hiring Range :
$98,696.00 to $134,888.00
Summary of Job Responsibilities:
The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Nurse Manager of the new Crisis Residential program is responsible assisting in planning, implementation and training for this new program and works closely with the operational and clinical leadership providing nursing leadership, clinical input, and consultation to ensure the delivery of safe, high quality customer care in accordance with organizational and program specific policies and procedures as well as applicable laws and regulations. The Nurse Manager provides direct clinical care, clinical oversight, and functions as a mentor and resource for the department nursing staff. SCF programs are established for the purpose of serving a primary population comprised of Alaska Natives who are affiliated with the Cook Inlet Region Inc. (CIRI), and Alaska Natives and American Indians within SCF's geographical service area. Employees should have a thorough understanding of the cultures and the needs of the CIRI members, and of the general culture and needs of Alaska Natives and American Indians. Such knowledge is critical in order to ensure the achievement of the mission and vision of
SCF:
working together with the Native community to provide the best services with Native staff who value the family and family wellness as the heart of the Native community.
Qualifications:
1. Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing; OR Bachelor's degree or higher-level educational program in health and human services. 2. Licensed in the State of Alaska as a Registered Nurse. 3. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. ACLS, NRP, ATLS, ALSO and PALS as required for specialty and any certification relating to the scope of practice as required. Additional Qualifications for
Crisis Stabilization Registered Nurse:
1. Three (3) years of clinical care nursing experience with a minimum of six months in crisis or related service program.
Native Preference:
Under P.L. 93-638, as amended, the company pursues a policy of Native preference in hiring, contracting and training. SCF Human Resources must receive certification before applicants receive preference.

You are required to agree that you will comply with all job-related employee health screening and immunizations prior to your first day of employment. Jobs designated as a Health Care Personnel (HCP) position, requires that you have documentation that you have completed the following immunizations prior to your first day of employment: MMR (Measles, Mumps and Rubella, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Hepatitis B, Influenza, T-dap (Tetanus - Diphtheria - Pertussis), and
COVID-19
