If you find purpose in guiding teams who serve others, this is the role for you. Hope Community Resources is seeking a Resident Manager to join our team in Kenai, Alaska.
Hope Community Resources, Inc. is a non-profit disabilities service provider based in Anchorage, Alaska. Founded in 1968, our company provides services and supports to people of all ages and abilities who experience an intellectual, developmental, or other disability, traumatic brain injury, or mental health challenge.
As our Resident Manager, you will manage an assisted living home for multiple residents. Everyday we'll rely on you to supervise other staff working in the home, coordinate the care of your support recipients, and ensure compliance requirements. To thrive in this role, you should have experience providing personal care and have a passion to create a vibrant, fun-loving, and compassionate home environment for your support recipients.
Requirements
Education and Experience
High School diploma or GED required.
Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Health or Social Science, Special Education or other related field preferred. Emphasis of study in developmental disabilities preferred.
Two years of experience providing direct support services required; one year of supervisory or administrative experience strongly preferred.
