Full-Time Job Description:
Gateway seeks a committed, skilled, energetic, organized customer service-oriented professional to be our Foster Parent Success Manager. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to be a difference maker for children who need Therapeutic Foster Care. This professional leads the recruitment, training and licensing processes for foster parents, ensuring a truly positive experience for each one. The successful candidate provides leadership and coaching to the team throughout the foster parent's journey with fostering, working as a partner as foster parents develop their skills and abilities. The FPS Manager ensures therapeutic foster parents receive specialized training and support to equip them to help children with significant challenges to succeed in a family setting. Such a family experience is truly game-changing for these children and their families. The ideal candidate is extremely trustworthy, thorough, and intuitive, enjoys meeting people and coaching them for success, and is passionate about engaging them to explore the personally rewarding opportunities of fostering. Gateway offers a competitive salary, mileage reimbursement, generous leave time, comprehensive health insurance, 401(k) match, excellent supervision and skills training, and seeks to promote from within. Gateway hires the best people because the children and families we serve deserve nothing less. Our team is a hardworking, ethical, diverse, and courageous workforce of champions. We are game changers and innovators, dedicated to building strong families and stronger communities. Each team member is an exemplary professional and role model, working at the highest levels of quality, integrity, cultural competence, safety, and enthusiasm. Our unique strengths combine in Gateway's collaborative environment to produce world-class outcomes for those we serve. Requires a bachelor's degree in social work, or a relevant field such as marketing or communications. In the field of social work, a master's degree is preferred with licensure as an LMSW. However, those with strong experience with successful recruitment can also be considered, even if that is not with foster parents. Good written and verbal skills required; proficiency with Electronic Health Records and Microsoft Office are a big plus. Much of the work takes place outside a traditional office setting, in the community and in our current and prospective foster homes. Candidate must have the ability to work a flexible schedule with evenings and weekends as required to support foster parents and programmatic needs. Reliable transportation, a clean driving record, and insurance as required by Gateway's insurer is necessary.
