Job Description

Community Manager The Charleston Apartment Homes - Mobile, AL Lead a thriving apartment community and make a lasting impact. The Charleston Apartment Homes, a premier 384-unit apartment community in Mobile, Alabama, is seeking an experienced, motivated, and results-driven Community Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our property. This leadership role is ideal for someone who is passionate about property management, team development, resident satisfaction, and achieving financial and operational goals. Responsibilities Oversee all daily operations of a 384-unit multifamily community. Lead, coach, and develop the leasing, maintenance, and office teams. Drive occupancy, resident retention, and revenue growth. Prepare and manage annual budgets while monitoring financial performance. Review monthly financial reports and implement strategies to meet NOI goals. Ensure compliance with company policies, Fair Housing laws, and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations. Maintain high standards of curb appeal, property appearance, and resident satisfaction. Manage resident relations and resolve concerns professionally and promptly. Oversee vendor relationships, contracts, and capital improvement projects. Monitor leasing performance, marketing initiatives, and renewal strategies. Conduct regular property inspections and ensure maintenance standards are met. Complete required reporting accurately and on time. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Community Manager or Property Manager in multifamily housing. Experience managing a large apartment community is preferred. Strong financial management and budgeting experience. Proven leadership and team-building skills. Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant laws. Excellent communication, customer service, and conflict-resolution skills. Experience with property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, Entrata, or similar is preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
