Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and organized Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our apartment community. The ideal candidate is a customer-focused professional with apartment management experience who excels at resident relations, leasing, compliance, and property operations. Experience with Section 8/HUD affordable housing programs is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the apartment community and leasing office. Process rental applications, lease agreements, renewals, recertifications, and resident documentation. Ensure compliance with HUD, Section 8, Fair Housing , and company policies. Coordinate maintenance requests, monitor work orders, and follow up to ensure timely completion. Build positive relationships with residents by addressing questions, concerns, and service requests promptly and professionally. Maintain accurate resident files, property records, and occupancy reports. Manage move-ins, move-outs, lease renewals, and occupancy goals. Collaborate with regional management and maintenance staff to ensure efficient property operations. Assist with inspections, reporting, and administrative tasks as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in apartment property management is required . Experience with Section 8/HUD or other affordable housing programs is preferred. Strong knowledge of leasing, resident relations, and property operations. Excellent customer service, communication, and conflict resolution skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software (Yardi, RealPage, OneSite, AppFolio, or similar). Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and work independently. Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented.
