Description:
Assistant Site Manager/Leasing Assistant Company Overview:
Established in 1974, our company specializes in developing, constructing, and operating affordable apartment communities across both rural and metropolitan areas nationwide. We are committed to maintaining high standards of living for our residents and ensuring exemplary site management.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain occupancy levels at 97% or higher consistently.
  • Ensure timely collection of rents, addressing delinquent balances, and preparing necessary documentation for tenants.
  • File eviction notices, when necessary, due to non-payment or lease violations.
  • Supervise and hire maintenance personnel, ensuring the office, grounds, and buildings are well-kept at all times.
  • Interact with tenants daily, including conducting interviews for prospective tenants and maintaining accurate records according to corporate and legal guidelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in property management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of tax credit regulations and experience with OneSite or comparable software preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills and familiarity with office software.
  • Ability to manage budgets effectively and meet occupancy and collection targets.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work unsupervised while meeting strict deadlines.
