This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee all facets of property management, tenant relations, maintenance, and financial performance. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, a strong background in property management, and the leadership skills necessary to foster a positive, efficient, and compliant environment. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the high-rise property, ensuring smooth and efficient management of leasing, maintenance, security, and administrative functions. Lead and motivate a team of leasing agents, maintenance staff, security personnel, and administrative professionals to achieve operational goals. Manage lease or rental agreement processes, including tenant screening, onboarding, renewals, and terminations while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant laws. Utilize property management software such as Yardi or OneSite to maintain accurate data entry, financial records, tenant information, and reporting. Coordinate property maintenance activities through facilities management systems like CMMS to ensure timely repairs and upkeep. Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase occupancy rates through upselling amenities and lease options while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Handle conflict management with tenants or vendors professionally, resolving issues promptly while adhering to legal and contractual obligations such as LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) requirements and Section 8 housing programs. Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations including Fair Housing laws, Section 8 guidelines, LIHTC compliance, and other local or federal mandates. Foster positive relationships with tenants by providing exceptional customer service via phone etiquette and face-to-face interactions. Prepare reports on property performance metrics, occupancy rates, financials, and maintenance activities for senior leadership review. Requirements Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles within high-rise or multi-family residential environments. Strong knowledge of property management software such as Yardi or OneSite; familiarity with CMMS systems is a plus. Extensive understanding of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 housing programs, LIHTC compliance, and lease/rental agreement management. Demonstrated ability in sales techniques including upselling amenities or lease options to maximize revenue. Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to negotiate effectively with tenants, vendors, and team members. Previous experience working within property management companies or facilities management environments is highly desirable. Strong administrative skills including data entry accuracy, filing systems organization, contract review, and office experience. Exceptional customer service skills paired with professional phone etiquette to foster positive tenant relationships. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
