In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with housing regulations, and foster positive relationships with residents and vendors. Your energetic approach will drive property performance, enhance tenant satisfaction, and uphold the highest standards of property management excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your expertise in real estate administration, leasing, and customer service to make a meaningful impact in our vibrant community. Responsibilities Included but not limited to: Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, rent collection, maintenance coordination, and tenant relations. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 programs, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), and other applicable housing laws. Utilize Appfolio property management software to maintain accurate data entry, leasing records, and financial reports. Inspect properties oversee property maintenance and facilities management to ensure safe, clean, and well-maintained living environments. Handle legal administrative tasks such as preparing contracts, lease agreements, and resolving landlord-tenant disputes through effective negotiation and conflict management. Conduct property inspections, coordinate repairs via CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), and manage vendor relationships for property upkeep. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing resident inquiries promptly via phone etiquette and fostering positive customer relationships. Implement upselling strategies for available units or amenities to maximize occupancy rates while adhering to Fair Housing guidelines. Maintain organized filing systems for legal documents, lease agreements, maintenance logs, and compliance records. Ability to work independently and with a team. Work under the direction of office manager and designated broker as needed. Must be present at the office 9am-5:30pm Monday through Friday. Some weekends may be required. Experience preferred Proven property management experience with a strong understanding of landlord-tenant law and fair housing regulations. Familiarity with LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing vouchers, and related federal/state housing policies. Hands-on experience using , appfolio, or similar property management software for data entry and reporting. Office experience including filing, data management, contracts administration, and customer relationship management (CRM), collections etc. Knowledge of property leasing processes from marketing to tenant screening to lease signing. Strong conflict resolution skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally and diplomatically. Experience in property maintenance coordination is highly desirable.
