Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Program Manager Behavioral to lead our Skilled Nursing unit's behavioral health initiatives within the STP (Specialized Treatment Program) Unit. In this vital role, you will oversee behavioral care strategies, manage staff, and ensure the delivery of exceptional resident-centered services for individuals with complex behavioral needs, including dementia and memory care. Your leadership will drive operational excellence, enhance resident well-being, and promote a supportive environment aligned with our mission to provide outstanding senior care. Duties Develop, implement, and oversee individualized care plans tailored to residents' behavioral health needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care. Supervise and mentor nursing staff, social workers, and caregiving teams to ensure high-quality behavioral support and compliance with regulatory standards. Coordinate multidisciplinary team efforts to manage residents' medication administration, therapy sessions, and behavioral interventions effectively. Monitor daily operations within the STP unit, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and budgetary guidelines. Lead staff training on best practices in assisted living, memory care, and managing residents with developmental disabilities or mental health challenges. Facilitate communication with families and external providers to support residents' emotional well-being and care continuity. Manage documentation related to care plans, incident reports, and regulatory compliance while maintaining accurate records of resident progress. Experience Proven management experience in long-term care settings such as nursing homes, retirement homes, or group homes. Extensive background working with individuals requiring Alzheimer's care, dementia support, or memory care services. Demonstrated leadership skills supervising multidisciplinary teams within home & community care environments. Strong understanding of assisted living operations, social work principles, and financial acumen related to healthcare management. Prior experience in supervising medication administration and implementing personalized care plans for seniors with complex needs. Familiarity with budgeting processes and operational management in skilled nursing or similar healthcare facilities. Knowledge of regulations governing long-term care facilities combined with excellent communication skills to foster teamwork and resident satisfaction. $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
