for the ELDERLY The House Manager position is in a leadership position working as a leader of a team. The individual is responsible for opening and coordinating the provision of services to support individuals for the Elderly and supervise direct care staff. The House Manager is also responsible for operation in compliance with regulations, and ensuring high quality services are provided. Other responsibilities include implementing Individual Plans for individuals, training and employee relations.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Opening an RCFE Supervise operations in accordance with federal and state laws, and company policies and procedures. Certify homes, property, equipment, and vehicles are maintained and operating in a safe, functional, and sanitary manner. Develop and implement procedures to ensure the care, safety, and well being of individuals being served. Oversee all CNA's in their job functions, duties, and responsibilities to verify they are performing each competently and efficiently. Ensure staff members have the training, tools, and supports to do their job efficiently and correctly. Provide job training for all staff as needed. Ensure all staff trainings and certifications are kept up to date. Complete CNA duties and provide services needed to protect the health and safety of the individual, as needed. Develop and foster a professional relationships individuals based on mutual respect and trust. Assist Administrator with all Administrator duties. Provide transportation as needed. Ensure the safety and well beings of individuals on a daily basis. Ensure all home emergency procedures are understood, practiced and followed. Communicate effectively with Administrator. Work cooperatively with other team members to carry out the program goals and objectives of each individual. Comprehend and follow Individual Service Plans (ISP) consistently. Regularly monitor the implementation of the ISP, ensuring the services and supports are provided as specified. Create, keep current, and maintain documentation and records. Understand and follow individual's medical and mental needs and requirements including but not limited to Doctors Orders, Medications, Treatments, and ISP's Perform other such duties/assignments as directed.Qualifications and Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience working directly with individuals with the Elderly would be preferred. . Must maintain and keep up-to-date all required certifications and trainings. Must have a current driver's license. Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check and any subsequent background check after employment. Will be expected to work an irregular schedule. During an emergency, short notice may need to given. Manage staff schedules. Manage monthly staff meetings. Be available to work on day, evening, night shift, weekends, and holidays.Requirements:
shall be at least 21 years of age be a high school graduate or equivalent have references and demonstrate past experience in caring for the elderly demonstrate the ability to apply basic knowledge of rules and regulations ability to communicate in English with emergency personnel ability to assist residents with prescribed and physician approved over-the-counter medications that are self administered ability to cook and create monthly menus perform housekeeping duties and assist with the maintenance of building and grounds demonstrate the knowledge to recognize the early symptoms of illness and the need for medical assistance able to document changes in resident conditions and notify the proper personnel/authority able to provide transportation for community activities/appointments using facility vehicles assist in the provision of resident safety including implementation of the procedures of the mass Disaster and Casualty plan able to assist resident with toileting, incontinent care, bathing, grooming, dressing, eating and other activities of daily living assist in implementing resident service/IPP plans demonstrate the ability to maintain resident records Interact with the residents, staff, visitors, and visiting agencies in a professional, courteous and respectful manner The following are conditions of employment: submitting to live scan fingerprints of the Department of Justice and FBI prior to hire sign a statement disclosing any prior criminal convictions complete a physical exam with a tuberculosis clearance and health questionnaire complete a personnel record which addresses name, Social Security number, references, educational background, and past experiences complete CPR and First Aid training prior to employment and participate in all scheduled trainings driver's license is required Compensation commensurate with experience.Job Type:
