In this role, you will oversee property leasing, maintenance, tenant relations, and compliance with housing regulations. Your energetic approach will ensure a positive living environment for residents while maximizing property performance. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and possesses a strong understanding of property management systems and legal requirements. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the residential real estate sector. Fluency in both Spanish and English is required. Duties Manage all aspects of property leasing, including marketing units, conducting tours, and negotiating lease agreements to maximize occupancy rates. Oversee property maintenance and facilities management, coordinating repairs and inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate data entry and filing of tenant records, contracts, and legal documentation using property management software such as RentManager. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 guidelines, and other local, state, and federal housing laws. Handle tenant inquiries, resolve conflicts professionally, and foster positive relationships through excellent customer service and phone etiquette. Conduct regular property inspections, oversee routine repairs via CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), and manage vendor relationships for maintenance services. Prepare reports on occupancy, rent collections, lease renewals, and maintenance activities to support operational decision-making. Skills Extensive knowledge of LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) programs, Section 8 housing vouchers, and related legal administrative experience. Proficiency in property management software such as RentManager for data entry, reporting, and lease administration. Strong understanding of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, contracts negotiation, and legal compliance procedures. Proven experience in property leasing sales strategies and upselling amenities or services to tenants. Excellent conflict management skills coupled with negotiation abilities to resolve disputes amicably. Background in real estate administrative tasks including filing, data management, and office experience with excellent phone etiquette. Ability to coordinate property maintenance activities efficiently while managing facilities through CMMS systems.
