This role is vital in ensuring exceptional property management, maintaining high tenant satisfaction, and optimizing property performance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in property management, leasing, and administrative functions, combined with excellent customer service skills. You will be responsible for managing leasing activities, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations, handling tenant relations, and coordinating property maintenance to create a welcoming and well-maintained living environment. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of property leasing, including conducting tours, processing applications, and upselling available units to prospective tenants. Oversee rent collection, lease renewals, and enforce lease agreements in compliance with landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations. Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management to ensure properties are well-maintained, safe, and compliant with legal standards. Utilize property management software such as RentManager for data entry, rent tracking, reporting, and record keeping. Handle legal administrative tasks related to lease contracts, eviction notices, Section 8 housing programs, and LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) compliance. Maintain excellent customer service by addressing tenant inquiries promptly via phone or in person while managing conflict resolution effectively. Conduct regular inspections using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools to identify repair needs and ensure timely resolution. Prepare filing systems for legal documents, maintenance records, tenant files, and incident reports to ensure organized record keeping. Engage in negotiation of lease terms and contracts with tenants while maintaining professionalism and adherence to fair housing laws. Foster positive relationships with tenants through proactive communication and conflict management strategies to enhance retention experience Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a focus on residential properties. Familiarity with LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing regulations, Fair Housing laws, and landlord-tenant law is highly preferred. Hands-on experience with RentManager or similar property management software for data entry and reporting purposes. Strong background in legal administrative processes related to leases, contracts, evictions, and compliance documentation. Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment while managing conflict effectively. Experience coordinating property maintenance activities and working with facilities management teams. Office experience involving filing systems, data entry accuracy, phone etiquette, and administrative support functions. Knowledge of sales techniques and upselling strategies to maximize occupancy rates while maintaining ethical standards.
