Job Description

Case Manager I Community Living Support Instructor Full time, 40 hours per week Hiring Bonus $1,000 hiring bonus paid in installments of $500 at 60 days, $250 at 90 days, and $250 at 180 days of employment. Why This Role The Adaptive Learning Center is seeking a compassionate and reliable Case Manager to support adults with developmental disabilities in building independent living skills. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meaningful work, values teamwork, and prefers community based work over a desk centered position. Case Managers work closely with a small caseload of adult members and are supported by a collaborative and mission driven team.   • 29 paid days off in year one, including PTO and paid holidays
  • 33.5 paid days off per year in years two to four
  • 38 paid days off per year beginning in year five Weekend shift differential of $1.
50 per hour for Saturday and Sunday shifts What You Will Do Support a caseload of approximately seven to nine adult members Teach independent living skills such as household maintenance, organization, and budgeting Assist with meal planning, grocery shopping, and food preparation Support personal hygiene, daily routines, and health related needs Monitor and support medication routines as required Build social skills and community engagement Promote home safety, wellness, and self advocacy Support members in accessing community resources What We Are Looking For Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, mental health needs, or learning disabilities preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team Availability to work at least one weekend day per week Valid California driver license with a clean driving record Ability to pass a Department of Justice background check and physical exam, including TB testing Adult CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain after hire About Adaptive Learning Center Adaptive Learning Center is a nonprofit organization based in Concord, California. Founded in 1988, ALC provides integrated services that support adults with neurodevelopmental disabilities in achieving independence, meaningful community engagement, and personal growth. Our services include Community Living Services, Community Connections (social learning Groups and activities), Vocational Support, Tailored Day Services, and Supported Living Services.
