The ideal candidate will lead leasing efforts, maximize occupancy, oversee maintenance operations, manage resident relations, and ensure the communities are maintained to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of both apartment communities Drive occupancy, leasing activity, and resident retention Manage rent collections, delinquency, and lease enforcement Monitor property financial performance and assist with budgeting Work closely with ownership to increase rental rates, maximize revenue, and achieve budget goals Review and approve invoices, vendor work, and service contracts Conduct regular property inspections and maintain curb appeal Respond to resident concerns and ensure exceptional customer service Supervise onsite team members and vendors Coordinate unit turns and make-ready schedules Analyze market conditions and implement leasing and pricing strategies Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and company policies Prepare operational, leasing, and financial reports Partner with ownership and regional leadership to achieve community goals
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of multifamily property management experience (Required) Previous Community Manager experience preferred Experience managing multiple properties is a plus Strong leasing, marketing, and customer service skills Experience with rent collections and delinquency management Ability to analyze financial reports and budgets Strong leadership and team-building abilities Working knowledge of Fair Housing regulations Experience with Yardi or similar property management software preferred Excellent communication and organizational skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability and willingness to travel between communities as needed Must successfully pass a background and drug screening Must be authorized to work in the United States What We're Looking For We are looking for a hands-on leader who takes pride in their community, understands property operations, and is passionate about providing outstanding service to residents while delivering strong financial results.
