Job Summary A boutique commercial real estate office in Encinitas, CA is seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager / Office Manager for a temporary 3 to 6 month assignment. This role is ideal for a highly organized administrative and property management professional who enjoys supporting tenant relations, commercial property operations, office administration, and basic accounting functions in a collaborative small-office setting. This opportunity offers a professional, team-oriented environment where your attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities will make an immediate impact. The office is looking for someone proactive, dependable, and comfortable wearing multiple hats while helping the team stay organized during a busy season and employee leaves of absence. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate tenant work orders, maintenance requests, and follow-up communication to support day-to-day commercial property operations.
- Respond to tenant inquiries, assist with issue resolution, and maintain accurate records of tenant interactions and documentation.
- Support lease administration, tenant files, property records, and other commercial real estate documentation.
- Manage office administration, including answering phones, handling mail, maintaining filing systems, ordering supplies, and assisting with daily office needs.
- Provide administrative and accounting support, including data entry, invoice processing, accounts payable assistance, and record maintenance.
- Support team members with special projects, office equipment troubleshooting, and general administrative tasks as needed. Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $25 to $30 per hour, depending on experience.
- Job type: Temporary contract assignment.
- Assignment length: Expected to last 3 to 6 months.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, typically 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.- Flexibility may be required based on business needs.
